Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design self-service infrastructure solutions, drive cross-team alignment on technical standards, and enhance operational workflows for reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Transform ambiguous infrastructure challenges into actionable proposals, driving them through architecture reviews and RFCs
• Design and implement self-service capabilities and platform APIs primarily using Go for onboarding, provisioning, and deployment
• Establish delivery standards utilizing Terraform and GitOps, while evolving multi-tenant EKS foundations for improved reliability and security

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong proficiency in Go or a similar language, with experience in design, testing, and debugging
• Proven track record in designing, shipping, and operating cloud services or infrastructure platforms in production
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, networking, cloud platforms, or reliability engineering, along with solid Linux and production-ops fundamentals
