Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of a secure operations platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver high-impact capabilities while working remotely with occasional in-person collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture and delivery of foundational platform capabilities, including AI orchestration layers and risk-based access automation
• Design and implement constructs for an AI-agent-ready operations platform, ensuring secure autonomous operations
• Lead technical direction and improve engineering quality through code review and mentorship

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in backend service design and scalable microservices architectures
• Proven ability to lead high-impact technical initiatives independently across complex problem spaces
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, including AWS and Kubernetes
• Experience building secure internal tools with a focus on security controls and data governance
• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and proficiency in Go, with willingness to work in Python
