Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a founding engineer on the TuneLab team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will own the end-to-end product development of AI-driven solutions for biotech startups, focusing on creating cohesive workflows and reliable applications while collaborating closely with product, design, and data science teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build the application layer that integrates Lilly's AI models into user-friendly workflows for biotech customers
• Mentor and support the growth of other engineers while collaborating on hiring and roadmap development
• Navigate enterprise infrastructure and represent engineering in discussions with external biotech partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping SaaS products
• Experience as a senior or staff individual contributor on a small team
• Strong full-stack development skills, including API design and frontend development
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their integration into software products
