Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role will own the integration architecture and knowledge surface that powers Gladly's AI, focusing on enhancing customer configurations and building new integrations without custom code.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture, setting technical direction for external system connections to Gladly's AI
• Build the pathways for AI to access context and take action across the customer's tech stack
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure integrations meet customer needs and expectations

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Demonstrated Staff or Principal-level ownership of projects and architectural decisions
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and a strong understanding of their application in development
• Deep experience or willingness to learn TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL
• Ability to analyze root causes and tackle complex bugs effectively
