Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join the AI Knowledge team in a full-time remote position, responsible for owning the integration architecture, building connective solutions for AI, and solving product-level challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture and set the technical direction for external system connections to Gladly's AI
• Build the necessary context and pathways for AI to take action across customer tech stacks
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure integrations enhance customer experiences

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Experience in owning domains end to end and making independent architectural decisions
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Copilot or similar in daily work
• Strong background in TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL, or willingness to learn
• Ability to dive deep into root causes of issues and effectively communicate complex systems
