Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

As the senior-most technical voice on the Core UI team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will set frontend architecture and standards, lead complex UI initiatives end to end, and collaborate closely with UX Designers and Product Managers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own architecture decisions and the technical roadmap for shared UI systems while leading major frontend initiatives from requirements gathering to delivery
• Design, build, and maintain the design system and component libraries, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance across products
• Act as a technical partner to UX Designers, providing implementation guidance and improving workflows that translate design intent into production code

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in frontend, UX, or design-adjacent engineering with a proven track record of leading technical projects
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React, including modern component patterns and performance optimization
• Experience building and maintaining design systems or shared UI libraries for multiple teams
• Solid understanding of accessibility (a11y) standards and their application in real-world interfaces
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and engineers across teams
