Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced technical leader, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and architect modules for a Wholesale Electricity Market Management System, collaborating with engineering and customer teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect modules and features for the Electricity Market Management System applications
• Lead technical design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers in an Agile environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8 years of professional experience in Market Management Systems, Energy Management Systems, or a technical lead role in the electric utility industry
• 6 years of experience with an Independent System Operator, market participant, or wholesale electricity market vendor
• Strong understanding of Market Management Systems, including Unit Commitment and Economic Dispatch
• Experience with DevOps practices and familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, and Jenkins
