Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join the AI Knowledge team in a full-time remote capacity, responsible for owning the integration architecture and enhancing the capabilities of Gladly's AI through innovative solutions and customer collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture and set the technical direction for external system connections to Gladly's AI
• Build and expand the connective pathways for AI, ensuring it has the necessary context and actions across customer tech stacks
• Collaborate with product and design teams to solve product-level challenges and mentor junior engineers in the process

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Demonstrated experience in Staff or Principal-level ownership of projects with minimal oversight
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot or similar in daily work
• Strong background in TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL, with a willingness to learn
• Ability to analyze root causes and debug complex issues effectively
