Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To drive technical direction and architectural leadership, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer II will design and deliver complex software solutions, manage data needs for the Pharmacy Application, and mentor engineers across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and influence system architecture decisions for enterprise-scale applications to ensure scalability and performance
• Drive technical strategy across multiple teams, aligning technology with business objectives
• Lead resolution of complex technical issues and foster technical excellence through mentorship

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and database technologies
• 3+ years of experience in a Senior Software Engineer II or equivalent role with a focus on technical leadership
• Expertise in advanced analytics technologies such as Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and microservices architecture
