Job Summary

To drive innovative marketing solutions for restaurants, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will set the technical direction for a personalization platform, build intelligence layers for marketing personalization, and own high-leverage problems related to reliable high-volume communication in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the personalization platform, focusing on audience targeting and creative optimization
• Build the intelligence layer using LLM-powered and classic ML approaches for personalized marketing at scale
• Transform one-off campaign work into a durable platform, enabling efficient guest journey configurations

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a track record of leading ambitious, multi-person initiatives
• Strong backend and systems design skills for reliable, high-scale services and data pipelines
• Experience with data-driven experimentation and measurement methodologies
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and turn aspirational goals into concrete technical solutions
• Proven skills in stakeholder alignment and cross-team decision-making without relying on authority
