Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the integration architecture, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will focus on enhancing Gladly's AI capabilities by building and evolving the connector and knowledge surfaces, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for external system connections to Gladly's AI, evolving existing solutions and designing new ones
• Build the necessary context and pathways for AI to take action, expanding its capabilities across customer tech stacks
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure integrations meet customer needs and deliver high-quality features rapidly

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Demonstrated experience in owning domains end to end and making independent architectural decisions
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools daily, with a strong understanding of their advantages and limitations
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL, with a willingness to learn as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dive deep into root causes of issues
