Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on the development of innovative storage solutions, the full-time Staff Software Engineer I will design and implement strategies for table schematization and maintain a highly available infrastructure, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies for table schematization, materialization, and compaction at scale
• Build and maintain multi-tenant, highly available infrastructure for background computational tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage features and infrastructure

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with open-source technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Flink
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
