Job Summary

Leading the technical evolution of Pinterest's Trends and Audience Insights, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will architect scalable data pipelines, build AI-powered capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance advertiser workflows in a remote or San Francisco-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for an audience-first insights platform integrating Pinterest Trends and Audience Insights
• Architect and deliver scalable data pipelines that generate personalized insights from various content signals
• Mentor team engineers and establish measurement practices linking insight quality to advertiser adoption and revenue impact

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on large-scale data or ML-powered platforms
• Hands-on experience building tools and data pipelines using AI coding tools
• Experience as the product-engineering counterpart on AI-first product launches from prototype to scale
• Strong track record of validating accuracy, performance, and quality in AI-assisted workflows
