Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Reporting to the American Fork, UT headquarters with the option to work remotely from any approved state location, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will develop cross-team architectural solutions, oversee multiple domains, and provide leadership as a subject-matter expert while delivering results on engineering missions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate architectural solutions across teams, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Conduct system analysis to recommend improvements in policies and procedures for company-wide applications
• Mentor other developers and lead engineering guilds, promoting reusable software patterns and standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8 years of relevant development experience with Java, PHP, or Vue.js
• 1 year of experience with common architecture patterns, including Microservice, Event-driven, and Client-server architectures
