Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To deliver scalable full-stack systems that provide business value, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will develop AI applications, lead engineering teams, and create reusable frameworks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable software systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges
• Lead rapid delivery initiatives and establish trust through consistent fast delivery of applications across various technology stacks
• Architect and implement generative AI systems, mentoring engineers on best practices and ensuring high standards for AI development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Deep production experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript across both backend and frontend development
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Next.js or React) and backend API development
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Proven ability to design and lead technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and navigating ambiguous problem spaces
