Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing digital health innovation practice, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and build scalable full-stack software systems, develop AI applications, and lead engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rapid delivery initiatives and build complete applications across various technology stacks
• Architect and implement AI-powered applications, including RAG systems and LLM integrations
• Mentor engineers, foster high-performing teams, and influence senior stakeholders effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Deep production experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript across backend and frontend
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and backend API development
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Hands-on experience architecting production generative AI applications and leading technical initiatives
