Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving technical strategy for regional infrastructure, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will lead architecture decisions, manage large platform initiatives, and mentor engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and execution for large platform initiatives across regional deployments
• Define and drive the technical strategy for provisioning, capacity management, and service onboarding at scale
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for system design, incident response, and cross-team execution

Required qualifications

• 9+ years' experience in software engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software coding
• 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code, provisioning automation, or platform orchestration
• 2+ years of demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
• 5+ years of hands-on on-call experience, driving post-incident retrospectives and systemic improvements
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
