Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a mission-driven Staff Software Engineer for a remote, full-time position to build and manage data-sharing API infrastructure, oversee cloud resources, and mentor team members while collaborating closely with engineering and product leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core APIs and admin tools for data exchange between political campaigns and technology partners
• Manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure system reliability through monitoring and incident response
• Participate in architectural design decisions, code reviews, and process improvements while mentoring other engineers

Required qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling APIs in production systems
• Strong background in cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with C#/.NET, React.js, PostgreSQL, and related technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal guidance
• Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into engineering workflows
