Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with the Engineering Team, Product Managers, and Designers, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable services for a high-throughput laboratory, focusing on creating a custom lab software solution while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services to support laboratory activities
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and develop both front-end and back-end applications
• Optimize architecture on the AWS cloud platform and monitor system performance for enhancements

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in developing software applications
• Proven experience with programming languages such as Python, React, and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in leveraging AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Strong quality assurance mindset with a commitment to delivering robust software
