Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a technical anchor for an engineering team, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will own the architecture and design of the platform, drive technical decisions, and mentor engineers while building core components of an AI system focused on enhancing security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture, technical design, and delivery for the team's area of the platform, converting roadmap into actionable engineering plans
• Drive complex technical decisions and resolve high-risk problems to prevent project blockers
• Design and build core components of the AI system, ensuring reliability and scalability while mentoring team members

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of back-end engineering experience, including roles as a technical lead or architect
• Deep experience in architecting and scaling production-grade distributed systems, with proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience building or scaling AI systems in production, particularly LLM-based or agentic systems
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value
