Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Software Engineer to work remotely on the Subscription and Membership Platform team, responsible for designing scalable full-stack solutions, managing core subscription systems, and driving cross-functional technical initiatives to enhance customer engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable full-stack solutions aligned with product requirements
• Own the architecture of core subscription and membership systems, ensuring billing correctness and workflow orchestration
• Provide mentorship on best practices and collaborate with engineering teams to drive technical initiatives

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior technical leadership role
• Proven experience in building platform infrastructure in a cloud environment (AWS)
• Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Spring, Java, Kotlin, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring frameworks
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, NextJS, etc.)
