Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving large-scale technical initiatives, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will shape platform architecture, deliver AI-native product experiences, and lead system design in a remote environment while mentoring engineers across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive complex, cross-functional projects from concept through production, aligning architecture decisions with business goals
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to deliver intelligent features leveraging LLMs and real-time data
• Own the architecture of critical platform capabilities and set engineering standards and practices for the team

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time in senior or staff-level roles
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments, preferably AWS
• Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems, and distributed databases such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
• Proven track record of leading high-impact initiatives in a SaaS environment
