Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of scalable full-stack systems delivering business value, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will work remotely to develop AI applications, solve complex problems, create reusable frameworks, and lead engineering teams in delivering production-ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rapid delivery initiatives, coach on prototype-first approaches, and manage complex stakeholder relationships to build complete applications across various technology stacks
• Architect and implement generative AI systems, establish RAG standards, and mentor engineers on best practices in AI development
• Define and enforce documentation and reliability standards, drive post-incident improvements, and lead lean transformations across teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant professional experience
• Deep production experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript across backend and frontend, including modern frontend frameworks and backend API development
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and production deployment strategies
• Demonstrable fluency with AI coding tools and hands-on experience architecting production generative AI applications
