Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To deliver scalable full-stack systems that provide business value, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will develop AI applications, solve complex problems with business teams, create reusable frameworks, and lead engineers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable software systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver practical solutions quickly
• Architect and implement generative AI applications, including RAG systems and LLM integrations, while mentoring engineers on best practices
• Lead rapid delivery initiatives, establish trust through consistent fast delivery, and define criteria for transitioning prototypes to production

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Deep production experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript across the full stack, including modern frontend frameworks
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Hands-on experience architecting production generative AI applications and leading technical initiatives across teams
• Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate ambiguous environments
