Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a driven and creative Staff Software Engineer in a full-time remote capacity, this role focuses on full stack product development, including building and maintaining GraphQL APIs and implementing user experiences using React and React Native, while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance the adaptive care experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full stack product development with a focus on backend systems and GraphQL API maintenance
• Independently write and execute technical plans for large, cross-domain projects while coordinating with product and design teams
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to cross-team engineering initiatives to enhance overall team impact

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience in general-purpose programming languages
• At least 2+ years of production experience in full-stack web development, including React, JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, and Python
• Proven experience building and maintaining GraphQL and/or REST APIs
• Demonstrated ability to decompose ambiguous problems and deliver technically elegant solutions
• Experience mentoring engineers and working effectively within a distributed development team
