Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the driver partner experience, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will architect, build, and deploy full stack applications and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Architecting, building, testing, and deploying applications and APIs that support the driver experience
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to confirm requirements and develop new features
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers while participating in peer code reviews

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in building, testing, and deploying applications in high traffic production environments
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and serverless technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
• Solid software development background including serverless patterns, data structures, and system design
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to internal and non-technical stakeholders
