Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading full-stack architecture in a remote capacity, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will mentor engineers, shape scalable Ruby and TypeScript systems, and influence technical strategy to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and define full-stack architecture across multiple scrum teams, aligning technical vision with business goals
• Write clean, maintainable Ruby and TypeScript code while modeling engineering excellence
• Mentor engineers through pair programming, design reviews, and technical coaching

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expert proficiency in front-end development using TypeScript, with experience in Lit and Angular preferred
• Strong experience in building and designing distributed, full-stack systems
• Demonstrated experience in architectural planning, system design, and technical documentation
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate technical risks in complex systems
