Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an innovative Staff Software Engineer to join the remote Showcase team, responsible for designing and maintaining Ruby on Rails solutions that enhance customer-facing product demonstrations and improve platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Showcase solutions using Ruby on Rails
• Define and drive technical direction for Showcase initiatives, ensuring user experience and platform capabilities align with business goals
• Build and improve instrumentation and monitoring workflows to support product-led growth and enhance user experience quality

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building and evolving complex software products, with a focus on staff-level responsibilities
• Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, with at least 5 years of experience in production systems
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and set technical direction for cross-functional teams
• Experience with relational data models and production databases in Rails applications
• Strong coaching mindset with a demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and support team development
