Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience through software solutions
• Conduct code reviews, develop documentation, and build robust test suites while mentoring junior engineers
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices and coding standards across multiple teams

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Expert experience with Python and distributed systems design
• Proficient in build & deployment automation tools such as CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
• Experience with AWS, SQL, and Pub/Sub patterns (e.g., Kafka)
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles
