Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for a hybrid full-time Staff Software Engineer position, the candidate will guide the iOS architectural roadmap, establish engineering standards, and mentor a distributed team of iOS engineers while collaborating closely with product managers and backend teams to enhance the mobile app experience for vehicle auctions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the iOS architectural roadmap and set standards for production-ready iOS changes
• Own the CI/CD pipeline for iOS, ensuring build reliability and managing App Store releases
• Collaborate with backend teams to represent mobile needs in API and service design

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional iOS engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
• Deep expertise in Swift and UIKit, with experience in UIKit-to-SwiftUI migration
• Strong understanding of iOS architectural patterns and experience establishing them across a team
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for iOS and the full release lifecycle
• Solid understanding of iOS security best practices and compliance requirements
