Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To build and maintain products within GoGuardian's Safety product suite, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design and develop the GG App for macOS, Windows, and iOS, manage deployment processes, and ensure software reliability across various customer environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the GG App, including installers and update mechanisms
• Own Windows installer engineering and develop deployment paths for enterprise systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and improve customer deployment experiences

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with desktop/client applications
• Deep expertise in Windows platform, including installer engineering and Windows services
• Strong PowerShell and scripting skills for automation and service management
• Experience deploying software at scale using enterprise systems-management tools
• Familiarity with macOS and iOS deployment processes or ability to learn quickly
