Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the mission of protecting critical infrastructure, the remote Staff Software Engineer specializing in UI/UX will design, implement, and evolve software features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and improve engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of features from concept through delivery
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to create well-designed solutions for complex problems
• Drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and developer experience through technical leadership

Required qualifications

• 6-8+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent capability
• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in modern front-end technologies like React and TypeScript
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects from concept to delivery
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering effectiveness
• Familiarity with designing or integrating backend APIs and distributed systems
