Job Summary

Driving technical strategy and leading complex initiatives, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will work remotely to enhance Vanta's product offerings in Governance, Risk, and Compliance while mentoring the engineering team and influencing key technical decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects to build reliable and customizable systems
• Drive a portfolio of complex initiatives, ensuring sustainable impact across product areas
• Champion engineering excellence by improving processes and methodologies across the organization

Required qualifications:

• Over 10 years of industry experience with expertise in areas such as frontend, databases, or distributed systems
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives in dynamic environments
• Mastery in system design and software architecture
• Extensive experience building user-facing SaaS products for startups and enterprises
• Strong leadership and mentorship experience, with a focus on team development
