Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the architecture and reliability of the alerting pipeline, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will manage the correlation and alerting engine for Command|Alert, ensuring high-fidelity alerts and mentoring teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the architecture for evaluating rule-based thresholds and ML anomaly scores to produce high-fidelity alerts
• Own the reliability of the alerting pipeline from evaluation through delivery, ensuring idempotency and performance under load
• Drive the correlation strategy to turn diverse data sources into usable network and system topologies for investigations and remediation

Required Qualifications:

• Deep, hands-on experience with OpenSearch alerting and ML-based anomaly detection in production
• Strong Kafka experience for producing and consuming alert events
• Experience with Temporal as a workflow orchestration client
• Mastery of Go and/or Python, with experience in stream processing and cloud environments
• Demonstrated ability to make organization-level architecture decisions
