Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the architecture and direction of the monitoring product's API and UI, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will work remotely to enhance system design and user experience for real-time network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and long-term roadmap for the monitoring product's API and UI, ensuring scalability and evolution
• Lead the discovery and inventory experience for new devices and hosts, including onboarding processes
• Define data contracts between the monitoring product and its dependent services, ensuring quality and performance standards

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of network and system topology and their relationships
• Production experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure such as distributed messaging/event streaming
• Comfort with contract-driven development using schema/interface definitions
• Working knowledge of network telemetry in production environments
• Strong cloud experience across at least two platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
