Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the architecture and long-term direction of the security product's API and UI, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will work remotely to integrate and present security telemetry from various sources, ensuring it aligns with analyst needs and driving architectural decisions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the architecture and evolution of the security product's API and UI, ensuring effective consumption of security telemetry
• Define and enforce data contracts between the security product and its dependent services
• Integrate security telemetry across diverse sources into a consistent model for analysts

Required Qualifications:

• Production experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure such as distributed messaging/event streaming and search or indexing at scale
• Comfort with contract-driven development using schema/interface definitions
• Broad knowledge of security telemetry and the ability to interpret signals collectively
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and their audit trails
• Proven ability to drive architectural decisions in ambiguous, cross-functional scenarios
