Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Staff Software Engineer working remotely, the candidate will ship meaningful product features, influence technical direction, and help evolve software development practices towards an AI-native model.

Key responsibilities

• Embed in product pods to design, build, and ship features end-to-end while ensuring customer impact
• Drive high-impact solutions and make technical decisions in ambiguous situations, maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability
• Mentor team members and improve engineering practices through hands-on collaboration and knowledge transfer

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on building and shipping impactful products
• Deep fluency in modern web stacks, particularly Node, TypeScript, React, and SQL
• Experience in owning services end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, and postmortems
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
• Strong experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows and outcomes
