Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Software Engineer will drive the development of scalable backend systems, enhance data pipelines, and lead integrations with third-party EHR systems while mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with engineering leadership to evolve core data models and transition to an event-driven architecture
- Drive technical excellence by defining best practices for integration and end-to-end testing
- Lead the development and maintenance of APIs for integrating with third-party systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development with a focus on scalable, cloud-native applications
- Deep expertise with AWS infrastructure, including serverless technologies and data services
- Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js; experience with React is a plus
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and API development
- Experience using AI coding tools for automation and complex integrations
