Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and leading the quality engineering strategy, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will operate remotely, ensuring the integrity of automated testing systems and enhancing release confidence across all product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand the quality operating model across the organization's product lines, evolving the technical vision and roadmap
• Manage the review-and-activation loop for test coverage, ensuring timely throughput and maintaining trustworthy coverage
• Establish and uphold release-gate discipline, ensuring execution records and exit criteria are adhered to under deadline pressure

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles, with leadership in quality initiatives
• Experience designing AI-assisted quality workflows and modern automated testing systems for enterprise SaaS applications
• Strong software engineering skills, particularly in Java and TypeScript, with the ability to review and enhance agent-produced code
• Proven experience with evidence-based release governance, including managing release gates and accountability
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and CI/CD practices
