Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the architecture and reliability of the alerting pipeline, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will manage high-fidelity alert evaluation, correlation strategies, and mentor cross-functional teams in the Command|Alert platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the architecture for evaluating rule-based thresholds and ML anomaly scores to produce high-fidelity alerts
• Own the reliability of the alerting pipeline from evaluation to downstream notification, ensuring idempotency and performance under load
• Drive the correlation strategy to transform diverse data sources into usable network and system topologies for investigations and remediation

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in designing and operating high-reliability alerting or notification systems in production
• Strong experience with Kafka for producing and consuming event streams
• Proficient in telemetry and protocol data, including security tooling output and monitoring telemetry
• Mastery of Go and/or Python, with experience in container orchestration and multi-cloud environments
• Ability to make organization-level architecture and technology decisions
