Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the experimentation platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and build core primitives for running experiments, enhance capabilities for market-based testing, and raise the overall experimentation standards across the company in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the core components for managing experiments, including user assignment and data tracking
• Expand experimentation capabilities to facilitate market-based testing across geographic areas
• Develop and implement best practices for experimentation processes, documentation, and team education

Required qualifications

• Proven experience owning an experimentation or feature flagging stack end to end
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists
• Experience debugging complex measurement issues and ensuring data integrity in experiments
• Demonstrated ability to improve organizational experimentation practices through programs and templates
• Familiarity with multi-sided marketplaces or growth systems is a plus
