Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To expand and strengthen the settlement platform, the remote Staff Software Engineer will design and maintain high-scale money movement APIs and services while owning architectural direction and driving alignment across teams.
Key responsibilities
- Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and workflows for high-scale money movement and settlement
- Own architectural direction for the settlement domain, producing and maintaining documentation and driving team alignment
- Drive end-to-end execution for large initiatives, ensuring risk reduction and stakeholder alignment
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience building and operating backend systems with Staff-level scope
- Proven ability to own critical production workflows end-to-end
- Strong system design fundamentals, including reliability and data modeling
- Demonstrated ownership of architectural direction for complex domains
- Ability to transition between high-level architecture and hands-on coding
