Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Software Engineer will own the development of connectors and parsers for ETL platforms and databases, leveraging AI to enhance the software's functionality and accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Build connectors for legacy ETL platforms, databases, and modern cloud data systems
- Parse various data formats and create accurate lineage and dependency models from extracted metadata
- Integrate AI into the development workflow to improve coding, testing, and debugging processes
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in data engineering, metadata, or systems integration
- Hands-on experience with ETL platforms, SQL parsing, and data lineage
- Proficiency in TypeScript and building automated tests
- Demonstrated experience in AI-assisted software development
- Ability to reverse engineer unfamiliar or poorly documented systems
