Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Software Engineer, this role will design and develop high-performance signal processing software in C/C++ on Linux, optimizing genomic data analysis for researchers and clinicians while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Define software architecture solutions for high-performance signal processing pipelines
• Design, develop, debug, and integrate multi-threaded C/C++ software on Linux
• Collaborate in an agile environment to maintain high-quality software against established processes

Required qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with C/C++, Java, or C#
• Experience in multi-threading and memory management techniques
• Proficient with software debugging and performance analysis tools
• Extensive experience writing high-quality unit tests against mock objects
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field with 8+ years of professional software development experience
