Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving innovation in AI-assisted code review, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will tackle complex product challenges and enhance the Copilot review agent's performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own product problems that arrive without an answer and ship the solution end to end
- Advance the agent's review capabilities, including context usage and memory improvement
- Shape the end-to-end review experience across various platforms, ensuring quality and efficiency
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software coding in languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or a Doctorate and 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience
- Experience maintaining and delivering production software
- Hands-on experience with coding agents and understanding their operational limits
- Familiarity with metrics that assess model-driven product improvements
