Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the design and reliability of cloud infrastructure, the full-time hybrid Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure will serve as the technical owner of platform security, collaborating with engineering leadership to enhance security and compliance for government clients.
Key responsibilities
- Design, operate, and ensure the reliability of cloud infrastructure, including networking and deployment
- Set technical direction and roadmap for infrastructure in partnership with engineering leadership
- Lead incident response efforts and implement technical controls for compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years in a Platform, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Security Engineering role
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks, including participation in audits
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Rust
- Experience managing production infrastructure on AWS or similar cloud providers
