Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the development of innovative voice applications, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for the Voice AI platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient backend services and core platform components for the Voice AI platform
- Lead complex, cross-cutting projects from design through production, ensuring alignment across various stakeholders
- Shape technical direction by making architectural decisions and establishing patterns for observability and monitoring of AI-powered systems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with object-oriented languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience developing AI-integrated products or features, particularly with LLMs or other AI capabilities
- Proven track record of shipping complex, mission-critical production services and leading multi-team projects
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and production reliability
