Job Summary
Leading the evolution of backend architecture, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will focus on refactoring and optimizing data pipelines while designing scalable distributed data storage and processing systems in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop scalable and performant solutions
- Shape product strategy and execution across disciplines
- Mentor and coach engineers while upholding high-quality engineering standards
Required qualifications:
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of production-level experience building highly scalable systems
- 4+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
- 4+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets
- Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems
