Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a multi-tenant identity platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will architect and implement advanced token management systems, lead the development of extensible claims engines, and design global identity infrastructure while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced token management systems with real-time revocation capabilities
- Lead the development of Kong Identity's claims engine, supporting dynamic attribute resolution and complex business logic evaluation
- Architect global identity infrastructure focused on edge optimization and sub-millisecond authentication latency
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building production identity platforms at leading identity providers or enterprise software companies
- Deep expertise in advanced OAuth 2.0 extensions and OpenID Connect profiles
- Proven experience architecting multi-tenant identity platforms with complex isolation requirements
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and advanced JWT patterns
- Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements for identity systems
