Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the technical strategy for the Cash App Banking team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence architectural decisions and enhance system scalability while mentoring aspiring engineers in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to execute technical strategies for the Banking organization
- Influence organizational leaders to ensure consistent and efficient technical decisions
- Contribute to technical designs and maintain high engineering standards through hands-on code contributions
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of software development or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience leading large-scale feature delivery projects
- Proven ability to design and build creative solutions to complex problems
- Strong track record in mentoring and helping other engineers grow
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
